Sunday saw the 15th season of IPL ended abruptly stop with Gujarat Titans winning seven wickets against Rajasthan Royals to win their debut title. Mumbai took the trophy for the first time in its history with an impressive 23-run win over CSK in the final. 2014- Kolkata Knight Riders Gautam Gambhir's Kolkata Knight Riders won their second IPL title by beating Kings XI Punjab by three wickets in the final. 2015- Mumbai Indians The former champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings played each other in the final. Mumbai was crowned the second IPL title with a comfortable 41-run win against Chennai. 2016- Sunrisers Hyderabad Virat Kohli was the IPL season's 2016 captain. Virat Kohli was in top form in scoring 973 runs and four centuries. He scored 54 runs off 35 balls in the final. Bangalore was unable to win the title. Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to hit a record of 209 runs to take their first IPL title. 2017- Mumbai Indians Mumbai Indians won their third IPL title after beating Rising Pune Supergiant in the 2017 season. 2018- Chennai Super Kings Each team had to face Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings in the first qualifying round, as well as in the final. Hardik Pandya's team reached the playoffs after losing only four matches in the league stage. They defeated Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in the final.
